Bili smo u pravu kad smo “Tijela”/”Bodies” stavili na listu najočekivanijih serija jeseni u nedavnoj velikoj sezonskoj najavi.

---U prošlom premijernom vikendu “Tijela” su dosegla prvo mjesto na top-ten ljestvici gledanosti među Netflixovim serijama, ispred “Pada kuće Usher”, “Beckhama”, “Spolnog odgoja 4”... Britanska serija nema najširoj publici poznate glumce jer to Stephen Graham (“Zdrpi i briši”) i Shira Hass (“Unortodox”) sigurno nisu.
Ni kreator serije Paul Tomalin nije netko koga se pamti po imenu i prezimenu, premda je radio na serijama kao što su “Torchwood” i “Besramnici”. No, ono što serija ima jest intrigantan koncept iz grafičkog stripa Sija Spencera koji je objavio Vertigo/DC Comics.

Ponovimo: “Četiri vremenske linije, jedna žrtva: kako bi spasili budućnost, četvero detektiva prvo će morati riješiti slučaj ubojstva koje je promijenilo tijek povijesti”. Uvod u “Bodies” je prilično “catchy”. Slika se račva na podijeljene ekrane i idemo od Londona 2023. natrag u 1941., godinu Drugog svjetskog rata, gdje je isto pronađeno nago beživotno tijelo s ranom u oku od metka koji se ne može nigdje pronaći kao da je misteriozno iščezao.
Opet slijedi “split screen” i brojčanik okreće godine od 1941. do 1890., također otkrivajući nečiji nagi leš ili, kako netko kaže, “svježe truplo, golo kao od majke rođeno”. Ne putujemo samo iz sadašnjosti u prošlost nego i u budućnost, točnije 2053., četiri godine nakon “Blade Runnera 2049”, čiji se utjecaj osjeća u neonskim neboderskim krajobrazima futurističke distopije.
Detektivi iz četiri različita vremena istražuju tijelo u seriji čija prva epizoda završava riječima “Ispravak, živ je”, navlačeći na daljnje gledanje. Detektivi su Shahara Hasan (Amaka Okafor) u 2023., Charlie (Jacob Fortune-Lloyd) u 1941., Hillinghead (Kyle Soller) u 1890. i Iris Maplewood (Haas) u 2053. godini.

---“Tijela” su misterija, triler i znanstvena fantastika “time travel” tematike. Jedno predavanje na kojem čujemo “čestica se cijepa na dva savršeno simetrična dijela, naprijed, natrag, jednako lako može otići sekundu u prošlost, kao i sekundu u budućnost” postaje značajno. Tu su i rečenice “Nužno nam je da vjeruješ u budućnost” i “Sve što smo učinili prouzročilo je sve što se dogodilo”.
Pokrivajući razdoblje od nekih 160 godina, unutar kojih je isto tijelo pronađeno na istom mjestu u četiri različita vremenska razdoblja, “Bodies” je jedna od najzahtjevnijih (Netflixovih) serija, na tragu “Dark”, makar ne baš tako kompleksna i komplicirana, ali svakako slojevitija (i bolja) od pomalo razočaravajuće “1899”. Zanimljivo, brojčanik s godinama zamalo pogađa 1899. i dolazi do 1889.
Ukratko, “Tijela” su serija koja se, za razliku od mnogih nezahtjevnih serijskih proizvoda, baš i ne može gledati dok kuhate, peglate ili slažete čarape. Odakle stiže tijelo? Je li znakovit plakat filma “Čovjek koji je pao na Zemlju” s Davidom Bowiejem, viđen u jednom trenutku na zidu?

Naravno, tijelo nije izvanzemaljsko, već ima veze s putovanjem kroz vrijeme koje je serija “Tama” iskomplicirala na kvadrat. “Bodies” ne ide toliko daleko, ali načelno intrigira paralelnom, transvremenskom “murder mystery” istragom oslikanom podijeljenim ekranima (prema kraju bit će ih na stotine), rijetko viđenim u “time travel” žanru ili uopće SF-u kojemu se serija priklanja, od “Doktoa Whoa” do “Matrixa”.
Imamo čak i “matrixovski” prizor: metak ispaljen iz pištolja leti u usporenom “bullet time” pokretu i pogađa zjenicu oka (viđeno i u “Povratku Supermana”), pri čemu efekt podsjeća na kamenčić bačen u vodu, simbolizirajući reperkusije vremena. To je najpamtljiviji kadar serije koja uglavnom uspijeva zadržati pažnju i biti intrigantna čak i kad se polako počne gubiti u vremenu, ako ne i prostoru, te poslovično produživati trajanje više nego što je potrebno (osam epizoda od sat vremena).
Teško da će serija postati kult kao “Dark”, kamoli neki od bezvremenih “time travel” klasika poput serijala “Povratak u budućnost”, “12 majmuna”, “Donnieja Darka” ili “Predoređenja”, ali treba pozdraviti veliku ambiciju “Tijela”. Posebice sada i ovdje, u ovom serijskom razdoblju.

---U prošlom premijernom vikendu “Tijela” su dosegla prvo mjesto na top-ten ljestvici gledanosti među Netflixovim serijama, ispred “Pada kuće Usher”, “Beckhama”, “Spolnog odgoja 4”... Britanska serija nema najširoj publici poznate glumce jer to Stephen Graham (“Zdrpi i briši”) i Shira Hass (“Unortodox”) sigurno nisu.
Ni kreator serije Paul Tomalin nije netko koga se pamti po imenu i prezimenu, premda je radio na serijama kao što su “Torchwood” i “Besramnici”. No, ono što serija ima jest intrigantan koncept iz grafičkog stripa Sija Spencera koji je objavio Vertigo/DC Comics.

Ponovimo: “Četiri vremenske linije, jedna žrtva: kako bi spasili budućnost, četvero detektiva prvo će morati riješiti slučaj ubojstva koje je promijenilo tijek povijesti”. Uvod u “Bodies” je prilično “catchy”. Slika se račva na podijeljene ekrane i idemo od Londona 2023. natrag u 1941., godinu Drugog svjetskog rata, gdje je isto pronađeno nago beživotno tijelo s ranom u oku od metka koji se ne može nigdje pronaći kao da je misteriozno iščezao.
Opet slijedi “split screen” i brojčanik okreće godine od 1941. do 1890., također otkrivajući nečiji nagi leš ili, kako netko kaže, “svježe truplo, golo kao od majke rođeno”. Ne putujemo samo iz sadašnjosti u prošlost nego i u budućnost, točnije 2053., četiri godine nakon “Blade Runnera 2049”, čiji se utjecaj osjeća u neonskim neboderskim krajobrazima futurističke distopije.
Detektivi iz četiri različita vremena istražuju tijelo u seriji čija prva epizoda završava riječima “Ispravak, živ je”, navlačeći na daljnje gledanje. Detektivi su Shahara Hasan (Amaka Okafor) u 2023., Charlie (Jacob Fortune-Lloyd) u 1941., Hillinghead (Kyle Soller) u 1890. i Iris Maplewood (Haas) u 2053. godini.

---“Tijela” su misterija, triler i znanstvena fantastika “time travel” tematike. Jedno predavanje na kojem čujemo “čestica se cijepa na dva savršeno simetrična dijela, naprijed, natrag, jednako lako može otići sekundu u prošlost, kao i sekundu u budućnost” postaje značajno. Tu su i rečenice “Nužno nam je da vjeruješ u budućnost” i “Sve što smo učinili prouzročilo je sve što se dogodilo”.
Pokrivajući razdoblje od nekih 160 godina, unutar kojih je isto tijelo pronađeno na istom mjestu u četiri različita vremenska razdoblja, “Bodies” je jedna od najzahtjevnijih (Netflixovih) serija, na tragu “Dark”, makar ne baš tako kompleksna i komplicirana, ali svakako slojevitija (i bolja) od pomalo razočaravajuće “1899”. Zanimljivo, brojčanik s godinama zamalo pogađa 1899. i dolazi do 1889.
Ukratko, “Tijela” su serija koja se, za razliku od mnogih nezahtjevnih serijskih proizvoda, baš i ne može gledati dok kuhate, peglate ili slažete čarape. Odakle stiže tijelo? Je li znakovit plakat filma “Čovjek koji je pao na Zemlju” s Davidom Bowiejem, viđen u jednom trenutku na zidu?

Naravno, tijelo nije izvanzemaljsko, već ima veze s putovanjem kroz vrijeme koje je serija “Tama” iskomplicirala na kvadrat. “Bodies” ne ide toliko daleko, ali načelno intrigira paralelnom, transvremenskom “murder mystery” istragom oslikanom podijeljenim ekranima (prema kraju bit će ih na stotine), rijetko viđenim u “time travel” žanru ili uopće SF-u kojemu se serija priklanja, od “Doktoa Whoa” do “Matrixa”.
Imamo čak i “matrixovski” prizor: metak ispaljen iz pištolja leti u usporenom “bullet time” pokretu i pogađa zjenicu oka (viđeno i u “Povratku Supermana”), pri čemu efekt podsjeća na kamenčić bačen u vodu, simbolizirajući reperkusije vremena. To je najpamtljiviji kadar serije koja uglavnom uspijeva zadržati pažnju i biti intrigantna čak i kad se polako počne gubiti u vremenu, ako ne i prostoru, te poslovično produživati trajanje više nego što je potrebno (osam epizoda od sat vremena).
Teško da će serija postati kult kao “Dark”, kamoli neki od bezvremenih “time travel” klasika poput serijala “Povratak u budućnost”, “12 majmuna”, “Donnieja Darka” ili “Predoređenja”, ali treba pozdraviti veliku ambiciju “Tijela”. Posebice sada i ovdje, u ovom serijskom razdoblju.
